Your Internet Protocol address (or, "IP Address") is the standard way of identifying a computer that is connected to the internet, much the way a telephone number identifies a telephone on a telephone network. The IP address is four numbers separated by periods, and each number is less than 256, for example, "192.168.1.1" and "no-cache" (your IP). Every computer connected to the Internet is assigned a unique address. Since these numbers are usually assigned in country-based blocks, an IP address can often be used to identify the country from which a computer is connecting to the Internet. Your country is based upon your current IP numbers. To use the PrintMyIP.com dynamic IP displaying image in an HTML document, insert the following code. Altering this code in any way voids agreement for usage and is subject to prosecution: <a href="http://www.printmyip.com" target="_blank"><IMG src="http://www.printmyip.com/ip_image.php" border=1></a>
